GOVERNANACE

Treenetra Foundation is registered as a Foundation under Section 8 of companies Act, 2013.  Donations from India to Treenetra Foundation are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act with prior permission. Treenetra Foundation is also authorized to receive foreign donations under the Foreign Contributions (Regulation) Act, 2010 with prior permission. Treenetra Foundation is also registered with the Govt. of India’s NITI Aayog .

Governed by a Board which closely monitors and regulates our fund allocation & management processes, we ensure that we maintain a high degree of accountability.

To work for the upliftment and development of downtrodden (irrespective of caste and creed), vulnerable tribals, minorities, below poverty line people through providing basic education, medical aids, creating health awareness, family planning, development of agriculture, procurement of forest products, marine products, minerals, and other products developed in backward and underprivileged areas of the country and abroad as permissible under the various programs, schemes and commissions of the central government, state government, local authorities, minority commission, and other statutory bodies as may be necessary.
