Off-farm issues are related to post-harvest losses, storage, food processing, distribution and marketing. Others are food availability, prices, quality and food security. To work for the upliftment and development of downtrodden (irrespective of caste and creed), vulnerable tribals, minorities, below poverty line people through providing basic education, medical aids, creating health awareness, family planning, development of agriculture, procurement of forest products, marine products, minerals, and other products developed in backward and underprivileged areas of the country and abroad as permissible under the various programs, schemes and commissions of the central government, state government, local authorities, minority commission, and other statutory bodies as may be necessary.
