  1. AREAS OF WORK
  1. Relief to the Poor

Poverty reduction occurs largely as a result of overall economic growth. Food shortages were common before modern agricultural technology and in places that lack them today, such as nitrogen fertilizerspesticides and irrigation methods. The dawn of the Industrial Revolution led to high economic growth, eliminating mass poverty in what is now considered the developed world. World GDP per person quintupled during the 20th century. In 1820, 75% of humanity lived on less than a dollar a day, while in 2001 only about 20% did.

Our approach is inspired by what we learn from the very poor, from our dialogue and discussions with them and from the new forms of solidarity we build up in order to take more effective and more successful action. Our aim is to ensure that each individual’s equal dignity is recognized and respected, including that of the poorest and most excluded.

  1. Education

India ranks 92 in education among 145 countries. … Last 3 decades also had witnessed the entry of lakes of foreign professionals entering in India to work on 4-10 times greater salary and perks as they found to be better skilled and effective.

The Indian Education system is the world’s second largest Higher Education System with more than 800 universities, 39,000 colleges and a capacity of enrolling more than a whopping 20 million students. Higher Education Institutions in India offer courses/degrees that are competitive in the world market in terms of quality but are delivered at one fourth the cost, hence guaranteeing value-for-money education.

Our Aim is to impart training and education to local stakeholders but not limited to domestic, industrial, government, private associations, technical experts, local villagers, professionals aiming to provide awareness and effectively implementing various aspects of planning, design, development and management in the aforesaid fields and to issue certificates, and to promote the regional languages of respective states through local experts / agencies / organizations.  To use all forms of mass media including but not restricted to digital and social media and training in order to motivate, inform, educate, train, mentor and aid citizens and voluntary organizations into order to work towards solving social, economic and environmental problems or otherwise engage in a process of constructive nation building

  1. Health & Hygiene

Due to the country’s vast population growth and its limited accessibility to water, people have limited access to sanitation and hygiene in India. Nearly half of Indians defecate into the environment, which pollutes water and leads to the number one cause of diarrhea-associated deaths in children.

We support the Government of India’s flagship programmes, which include the Swachh Bharat Mission, the National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP), WASH in Schools (including preschools called ‘anganwadis’), WASH in health facilities, and district-wide WASH interventions supporting planning and implementation and incorporating behaviour change into state and national guidelines and costed plans.

  1. Rural Development i.e. Roads, Rural Sanitization, Rural Drinking Water Supply, Rural Housing etc.

Superficially, rural development seems to be a simple task but, in reality, it is not. Post-Independence era has seen many rural development programmes through different five-year plans. Alleviating poverty, employment generation, more opportunities for generating income, and infrastructure facilities are emphasized through the policies and programmes of the government.

Our NGOs will specific to a particular locality and moreover these are committed towards serving the public and community as a whole. The basic rural development should include all these apart from employment, proper water supply and other basic facilities.

  • Urban Development i.e. Urban Slum Development, Urban Roads, Infrastructure, E-City Development

The fast changing world is turning the landscape of the cities in a big way.  Rural areas are getting urbanized thereby causing big problem for town planners in providing basic amenities to urban dwelling population.  One side Urban Slum should be rehabilitated into livable households and on the other side necessary basic infrastructure like roads, sanitation, water supply, electricity distribution, etc. have to be ensured in the Urban Areas.

The newly emerging smart cities have to be designed in such a way a sustainable environment is provided without disturbing eco-system.

  • Agricultural  Development

Agricultural issues arise both at the on-farm and off-farm levels. On-farm issues include poor land-use, land degradation, environmental abuse and low productivity. Off-farm issues are related to post-harvest losses, storage, food processing, distribution and marketing. Others are food availability, prices, quality and food security. There are also issues of inadequate funding and credit as well as political instability

  • Creating Awareness of Transgender

Transgender people face poverty, unemployment, discrimination in education, enormous health disparities, including staggering rates of HIV infection, lack of primary care, high rates of attempted suicide, etc.  Society indulges in discrimination against the people of transgender community.

Recognition and creating awareness for the civil rights of trans people and their legal needs is a much-needed service to the society.  These also needs inclusion of identity documents that accurately reflect who they are, protections from employment discrimination, and immigration rights.

  • PM Cares Fund
